Good Friday
Good Friday is an odd name, but Christianity is odd. It's radical. It's difficult. To think that the son of God came and died for us so that we would be released from the grip of sin and death is earth shattering. I was trying to capture the darkness of that Friday before what we now call Easter. Whether you are a believer or not, reading the accounts creates an incredibly vivid moment where the son of God gave up His last breath.. and the Heavens shook. The earth gave up it's dead, the temples holy of holies was revealed and a world was forever changed. The image that came out of this for me is what you see below. It was used a visual slide projected in a church as well as part of some printed materials used for an all music service.
