As part of the A+E Networks rebrand, the basic purpose and usage of the corporate site was reappraised, taking competitive brand sites into account. The A+E Networks brand was uniquely positioned as a container for its three networks rather than as a stand-alone entity. Orange, Magenta and Cyan came to represent each of the networks and all news items presented are relevant to one of them. Additionally, we took a cue from the major industry blog, Deadline, to craft news items who’s tone moves away from “corporate-speak” to insider info. Scrolling news items seek to engage the visitor.
