I created artwork and flash animation for this Facebook app by Asvathaa in Motion. I also created the artwork and flash templates for the dialogue boxes, as well as banner art.

 

Karma Kingdom in action Facebook. The app was a community based role playing app. Your avatar builds homes, plants things, gets gifts and food etc. You build more assets by doing good deeds, hence calling it karma Kingdom. The real life company, Asvathaa had the mission to actually help others through the app, by including assets you could purchase for your avatar that would earn you lots of good Karma and all the money would go to a real life charity in India. I designed all the assets, the avatars, UI, the banners etc, as well as animated any characters or assets, like walking avatars and burning lanterns.

A close up of some citizen avatar variations that I designed, and a few special building designs that were for Karma Kingdom's selected charities, like Sankara Eye Foundation, featured in the bottom banner here. if you bought this item in the game, the money would go directly to that charity.

A banner featuring some Diwali gifts for the special holiday. Not being Indian, I had to do a lot of research for this app, to keep it authentic and true. We featured all the Indian national holidays, cultural traditions and speciality foods, and activities. I also had to learn about the Hindu Gods since these are represented in the app too. Here's a few more banners I made featuring some of the avatars and assets I designed in the game.
