Based on the purpose of creating cultural pavilions and utilitarian products for the promotion of the various regions of the state of Jalisco, México, Piedra Mia was born; a project with primary focus on the Valles region, a place rich in culture and materials, mainly obsidian.
The project proposes the creation of a group among stone working craftsmen, designers, entrepreneurs and government, to promote the use of this material, revaluing it and creating luxury items that can be sold internationally. This is how the collection Filo de Cielo arise, a series of knives inspired in Mexican street food.
