The Ice Cream Club Drum

Creating a market competitive package design. Aimed to rival the image of Talenti, the gelato producer. Shelf presence was a primary goal when beginning the design; however, throughout the design process, logistics constantly plagued the progress of innovative design. The package went through 5 main variants of design. However, the early thumbnails sketches are not pictured.
The first full rendition of the package design. Focused design around the approximate dimensions of the Talenti container.
Design becomes elongated to depict the appearance of a taller model of similar features. Mainly to discover the direction the package was wanting to be taken.
A further sketch of the package design. Now, the package has gained stylistic features to bolden its on shelf presene. The flat top to the container lid was a logistics comprimise from previous models.
A comparison of the last 2 sketches for debate. The upper package sketch shows a more logistical lid with a simple, mundane package base. The bottom package sketch illustrates more towards teh shelf presence rather than logistics. The package base was meant to catch the eye and cause the consumer to become intrigued, resulting in a purchase.
