Portrait of a Sad Clown as a Smoker

Do you know why I do these?...
I don't know why I do these...
A f**kin' waste of time. I'm just wasting my time when what I NEED is to start getting paid for this sh!t. I'm over here trying to get a job, while they're over there sucking eggs, asking for more. So what do I do? I come around here trying to prove myself, when in reality, I've been good enough this whole time; they're just too stupid to know what's good for 'em.

These are the jokes, people.
I picked up a book...but it was heavy, so I put it down.
Then I started reading from it: Probelm Solving for Oil Painters by Gregg Kreutz. I found a lot of very useful information in it concerning all matters of creative problem solving; Fundamental techniques that are only revealed through years of practice and study. This portrait is an attempt at application, to see what knowledge I may retain after reading this book.

I wanted to try out some of the things that I've learned. I wanted to do something "painterly."
