I was contacted by the management for the legendary Jamaican Rocksteady duo Keith & Tex and asked to provide songs for their upcoming album "Just Passing Through", their first new album in almost 20 years, and only their second since the late 1960s. I sent them three songs that I wrote, and so far they have completed tracking vocals for one.

 

The recording of the music began at Victor "Ticklah" Axelrod's Don't Trip Studio in Brooklyn, NY and was completed at various locations throughout the world. It was mixed and dubbed by Ticklah back at his studio.

 

Keith Rowe is re-launching his record label Kebar Music and has decided that this single will be their first release. He is releasing it in November 2014 as a limited run of 500 7" 45rpm vinyl before being included on the full-length album in CD, vinyl, and digital formats.
