Children ages two to five often have a hard time learning the alphabet. Although many apps exist to assist children with this task, there is currently a lack of a well-designed app that integrates several visual, auditory, and motor skill aspects of learning to achieve the end goal. ABC Bear is an app designed to help children ages two to five learn the alphabet while still having fun. While children use the app they hear ABC Bear narrating their progress and offering encouragement. By combining a simple user interface, bright images, and a kid-friendly character this app is not only visually stimulating but also educational. By having two different modes, “Play” and “Quiz”, children keep entertained and motivated to keep learning.
