Dieng Plateau is one of a beautiful plateau in Middle Java. Dieng is come from Di Hyang which means Place of God. People in Dieng believe that a lot of places there once had lived Gods and Their heir.
First place nearby our homestay are those lakes or we call it Telaga. The green lake on left side is Coloured Lake or in Bahasa we call it Telaga Warna. and the brown lake on right side is Pengilon Lake or in Bahasa we call it Telaga Pengilon.
Local residents told me that once there was a beautiful goddess who made a men fell in love with her. Then she made an order to those men to build lake for her to bath. Then there was these lakes.

Next place is Sikidang Crater. This crater smells like sulphur just like common crater who produce sulphur. And it is the path to reach crater
The closer view of crater and the smell getting and getting stronger if we stand around the crater. Even, there are some people who take advantages from the heat of the crater. They use it for boil an egg.

Another crater in Dieng Plateau.This one is called Sileri Crater but I didnt come closer to crater because of its smell.
This temple is Arjuna Temple which build aim to worship the Arjuna. In Javanese story, Arjuna was the strongest knight compared to his brother. He had 4 brothers and they were called Pandawa Lima (The five of Pandawa).
This temple stands beside Arjuna Temple is Srikandi Temple known as Arjuna's wife who wise the most and expert in archery. She was a brave woman and fell in love with Arjuna while Arjuna had already had a wife, Rarasati.
Arjuna is known for having a lot of wives. And this Srikandi is the most famous one.
This one is Gatot Kaca temple. Gatot kaca was the son of Pandawa Bima, brother of Arjuna. Gatotkaca was another strong knight in Javanese story. He is known as otot kawat, tulang besi ( Muscle is made by wire, and bone is made by iron) because of his strength.
You can see that trees as a background of photo which look like the one in Teletubbies show. That is why there is Teletubbies figure here to take photo together. This place located around the temple

Actually, there are still a lot of crater and lake that I had not visited yet because of its damage road to reach it. For example, this road lead to Candradumuka Crater, a crater who used to boil Gatot kaca untill he got his strength.
