As we researched how to improve account creation, we learned that one of the biggest aspects that inhibitted people from completing the registration was the "membership record number." This number allows, FamilySearch to know which of its users is a member of the LDS church.
To help simplify and improve registration we made it to where the user could skip this step and FamilySearch would remind them later.
Here are the tests we did to figure out which was the best method of reminding the user once they signed in.
