In this video Mads Nissen goes over his process and how to creat good documentary photographs. He says that documentary photos need to create emotion and have a story. If you as the photographer do not feel emotion when taking a photo then your audience won’t either. I found his advice and tips helpful as it helps me think about what I would want to tell a story about. I think Nissens work is very impactful and definitely creates that emotion that is important to documentary photography and he sets a great example.
