There are many ways to convey a message, one of which is to use creative strategies. Next, you will see an explanation of each strategy and some examples.
1. Combination

This is a strategy for combining objects and creating a new one. The next image is as if a child had drawn a house on the blackboard to remind everyone how important it is for every child to have a good, safe home.
2. Juxtaposition

This strategy also combines objects, but unexpected objects, to create a new one. The image brings a child's memory that is having fun in playgrounds.
3. Isolation

The goal of this strategy is to focus the viewer on one element in a composition. In the image below, the pens are like people, and only one is different and separate from the others, showing that we need to be ourselves, even if that means being alone.
4. Metaphor / Simile

Is the strategy of creating a meaning with the image that can be related to something else. In this image, the sword (created with the pen and the draw) and the notebook convey the message that words can hurt.
5. Change of Context or Environment

Contrasts objects with unusual settings to communicate an idea. In the image we can see a flag in front of a wall, which means that we should defend our beliefs in every place. This should be a right, but we know that sometimes there are some walls to block people's beliefs.
6. Physical Shape Similarity

This strategy uses physical similarities to show connections. The image is a pen turned into a rocket and the title is a reference to the song "Rocket Man".
7. Material Change, Swap or Focus

This strategy exchanges one material property we are accustomed to for another. The following image is a pen turned into a telescope, showing that imagination can take us to the stars. Imagination can bring good things when life is hard.
