I am thrilled to announce that our project team has been honored with the esteemed 2024 "La Plata Campaign Award" by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) San Antonio Chapter. This award recognizes outstanding achievements in public relations campaigns, celebrating comprehensive programs that showcase strategic PR tactics and meet the highest industry performance standards.

Our winning entry was submitted in the "Events and Observances" category for the UTSA Libraries and Museums Ven a Comer event. Originally conceived as an annual signature dinner to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with fine food and drink, Ven a Comer has evolved into a comprehensive program designed to support the Mexican Cookbook Collection housed within UTSA Libraries. Proceeds from each event are dedicated to this noble purpose.

As part of our campaign efforts, I had the privilege of designing graphic collateral for Ven a Comer, including a new logo, assorted print materials, social media assets, web collateral, and a style guide. This collateral played a crucial role in effectively communicating the event's message and enhancing its visibility.

We are immensely proud of this achievement, which reflects our team's dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence in public relations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to PRSA San Antonio Chapter for recognizing our efforts and to everyone who contributed to the success of the Ven a Comer initiative.
