Cumbria College of Art and Design: Logo and brand
Quite possibly the first logo I ever (inadvertently) designed. Being a huge fan of Echo and the Bunnymen, I used to scrawl lyrics and phrases all over my drawing board covers in this handwriting. When the faculty decided to update their (very 60s) logo - and saw my drawing board - they asked me to create a logo based on this.
I decided to keep their legacy 'red' but came up with this design.
This logo was in in use for many years, right up until the college was awarded university status and became part of the extended, Lancaster campus.
