EMUNITY RECORDS

Although advertising has always been my profession, music has always been my passion. Started playing when I was 10, joined my first band at 15 and played every free minute I had ever since. Although choosing advertising didn’t leave me with too many free minutes.

I managed to stay on the road and play whenever possible until I met two independent musicians and producers, who later became my friends and partners in a 5-year, incredibly fun journey called Emunity Records.

An independent record label that decided to start distributing vinyl records right in the beginning of the Napster era. Ah, visionaries! Ok, in our defense, we also were one of the first independent labels with our entire catalog available in i-Tunes as soon as it launched.

Our main artist was Lazybatusu (basically the three of us). We edited two LP’s and licensed some of our tracks to over 60 compilations around the world, including Café del Mar and Compost Records.

“00:03” was our first album. Then we launched a compilation of tracks from artists from all over the world called “PAXPORT”, and finally we edited Lazybatusu’s last LP, “OTHERVIEW”.

Emunity Records closed its doors due to a long list of events; the important fact is that I didn’t go bankrupt, I didn’t end up in jail, and owning a record label was checked off my list. Furthermore, all these records are still available today on Spotify.
