€140M project for the western local centre titled ‘Park Village’ which included 412 dwellings, 3,000 sq.m retail, 700sq. m offices, Medical Centre, crèche, 168 bed hotel, Pedestrianised Civic Space and underground car
park and 18 acre public park. The project was granted planning by An Bord Pleanala in January 2010.
The project is featured in ‘The New Housing 2’ publication 2009.
