The idea of this composition came from reflections on the fact that blooming sakura for Japan is about the same as snow for Russia - a long-established association in the public consciousness that lures tourists. Therefore, the sakura is placed in a souvenir ball in which the fallen flowers fulfill the function of shiny snowflakes in the original souvenir balls.
