Exam Plan
For my exam i do not plan on starting any new techniques i have never explored before, rather i will be refining all my ideas into final outcomes/ pieces to the best quality i can. I have made at least one of every outcome before so i know how the process works and almost how much time each one will take. These prototypes are the foundations for the 15 hour exam, to ensure productivity and organization.
As the exam is split into three days, spread out between 8 days, i have opportunity to develop my ideas and slightly change them. I plan to make 3 separate outcomes in total- them being: 3D collage framed prints, a Japanese binding book and a concertina. There is time in between the exams (1st- 2nd, two nights, 2nd- 3rd, five nights), this is going to be used for further small experimentation but mainly for writing and evaluating on Behance so its not rushed towards the end.
Time is very important in the exam especially coming towards the end of the topic as a whole. To make sure i am on topic and making the most of the time i have, i will write a general plan for when i need things completed by followed by a daily checklist ensuring everything i need to be done is getting done i a timely manor. If however, i do go off script a little, which is inevitable for a creative subject, i will push the more important and time consuming elements first, following less time consuming elements after. In the worst case scenario, where i am spending to much extra time on a specific outcome, i will leave it as it is and continue with my other pieces so i can ensure i hand in those 3 separate pieces instead of having one really refined piece and two rushed ones.
The first five hour exam day, i will make my 3D collage framed prints.
For this i will need:
- Black frames (1-3, A5 in size)
- Glue (PVA preferred, Glue stick is ok)
- Scissors
- Exacto knife
- Cutting mat

For the second five hour exam day, i plan to make my Japanese bounded book.
For this i will need:

- Needle and Thread
- Pencil
- Cutting mat
- Exacto knife
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Hole/ Screw punch
- My imagery
Finally, for the last five hour exam day, i plan to make my concertina.
For this i will need:
- Paper/ Card

- Pencil
- Ruler
- Glue stick
- My imagery
