signs are one of the things that separate a hotel from a home
most hotels buy pre-made signs
but this is a hand-made hotel
and since it's in an old SF apartment
the restroom lock is a bit quirky
so it's best to use the indicator
we did buy the sign for room 1
but it was hand-made by someone else
