For this project I made a zine based of off a V&A artifact, 'Cats Beaker', designed by William John Clappison. In this zine I Explore various cups from around the world and across history. I dedicated each page to an illustration of the cup and some text informing the audience about a different cup.

The exploration I did for this project of course include researching the cups included in the zine, but I also included studying the cups in my own houses hold and their uses, learning bookbinding techniques, exploring rubber stamping that influenced the style of the illustrations and general planning/mind maps of what to include in this project. 

My draft ideas for the zine/pages centred on a simple format of having a simple illustration of the cup and short informative text underneath. I started by making a rough illustration of the mazagran which was inspired by the janky-ness and texture of the previous rubber stamping workshop and used this design for the rest of the cups.
