It's 2014; the year of the smartwatch. So I decided to try my hand at smartwatch UX design
Based on the hardware of the Moto 360. I was really disappointed that Apple couldn't pull off a round screen.

First of; Naming
I don't like the name Apple Watch, or the style it was presented: *Apple logo*WATCH (in Helvetica)

I like the idea of appending the number 24. And for some reason Lumia Watch didn't sound right to me so I went for Lumia Smartwatch instead.
This design isn't supposed to be any platform in particular. Just a general presentation of what I think they should do and how it should work.
Some rules:
 - It should be able to work without a smartphone/tablet. No sign up or syncing or the like. Straight out of the box. Switch it on, set the time, turn on GPS if you need to for Map + Compass. Then the other features can come after.
- No content creation on this device. Not at all. Not even via Siri. Imagine everybody on the bus or train talking to their wrists; annoying. If a message gets sent to you, veiwing it indicates to the sender that message has been delivered and read; not replys. ('cept maybe for Apple's intelligent poll-type questions)
 - Minimal use of whites and colors. With an "active display", black pixels are turned off which would in turn save battery life. Battery life should be a priority.
 - No empty sets. If your phone isn't synced and the app isn't launched, the corresponding smartwatch face shouldn't appear at all. For example, Music. This gives people less to flick through.
