Rebranding a 50yo business


Founded in 1958 in Norway, this home improvement company has evolved into one of Europe's most professional and modern floor-sanding businesses. However, their outdated identity became a hindrance, making it challenging to convey their evolving values over the years. To breathe new life into their image and highlight their attention to detail, they sought a modern visual language.



Challenge

Undertaking the transition of the business to a modern and artistic identity while retaining its traditional values.


We are fond of the intricate puzzles that wooden floors create with their various motifs, and we aimed to incorporate this concept into our visual identity. The mark is based on squares, representing the layers of a wooden floor. Treating each of these layers deeply goes beyond a simple service, it is considered an art.








We've developed a range of elements to craft a distinctive identity system, perfect for conveying our messages. Each element is inspired by our core mark, blending seamlessly to foster a cheerful, rejuvenating, and creative atmosphere. Our visual language empowers us to deploy these elements while staying true to our values and ensuring instant recognition.
