Resin River Charcuterie Board

Resin River Charcuterie Board
Using dark maple wood, I cut out four pieces of wood and trimmed them to the same length. Then, I used 2 by 4 wood to create a frame lined with wax paper and packing tape. I used clamps to hold the wood down in the frame. First, I mixed an opaque dark and light blue for the undercoat, and then I mixed a transparent light blue and dark blue for the top layer. After the resin dried, I ran the boards through a planer and sanded down all the sides. The last step involved rounding off the edges and polishing up the boards.
I also added touch-up resin before the second sanding to fill in the chipped places from the planer.
