This is a series of solar prints I made over the past month.

 

"There is beauty in everything if you only know how to look at it"

was the idea behind this set of prints. The subject matter of each print was a weed collected from my yard or on one of my daily walks with my energetic dog.

 

Weeds are typically something we disdain, we need to pull them out or kill them in our gardens. We want to keep them out of our yards because we did not plant them. They arrive uninvited. I thought it would be interesting to take something typically unwanted and make it beautiful, something you wanted to put in your home.
