Designing a Student-Centric Food Experience for Sarovar Hotels at ISB Hyderabad
Project Overview:
This design project aimed to revamp the visual identity of Sarovar Hotels' food services catering to the students at ISB Hyderabad. We, a two-member design team, collaborated to create a cohesive and interactive experience for the students across various touchpoints.
The Challenge:
Sarovar Hotels sought to elevate the perception of their food services amongst ISB students. They desired a design approach that was both informative and engaging, reflecting the high standards and diverse offerings of their food options.
This design project aimed to revamp the visual identity of Sarovar Hotels' food services catering to the students at ISB Hyderabad. We, a two-member design team, collaborated to create a cohesive and interactive experience for the students across various touchpoints.
The Challenge:
Sarovar Hotels sought to elevate the perception of their food services amongst ISB students. They desired a design approach that was both informative and engaging, reflecting the high standards and diverse offerings of their food options.
Our Design Solutions:
We ditched the boring posters and designed eye-catching ones that would make students' stomachs growl. We used mouthwatering pictures of all kinds of delicious food to show the variety Sarovar offers. Plus, we highlighted special deals and upcoming events to get students excited and trying new things.
We threw out the confusing menus and created clear, yummy-looking ones for both the food court and the food truck. We organized everything logically (categorised all of the foods) so students could find what they wanted in a snap. We even added pictures next to the descriptions, so students could practically taste the food before they ordered.
We didn't stop at menus - we created a bunch of other cool printables. Tent cards on the food court tables showcased the daily specials, giving students more yummy options to choose from. We even made flyers about Sarovar's food offers and easy accessible payment QRs, so students could relax and enjoy their meals knowing everything was tip-top.
Designed a Welcome card to make new students feel instantly welcomed at ISB, these cards offered a warm greeting & helpline contact details. New students arriving at ISB are likely to be overwhelmed and excited in equal measure. Our welcome card design aimed to create a sense of belonging right from the start.
