Memorial Piece for North Orlando Rowing Club Accident

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, two middle school rowers died after lightning struck their boat during practice on Lake Fairview in Orlando. As a neighboring boathouse on the same lake, my rowing club, Edgewater, wanted to create a visual symbol of our love and support. I was asked to paint a wooden replica of a rowing oar's blade.

I used spray paint and Posca markers to create this design. It was created on Illustrator and the design was projected onto the surface.
