The goal of the Photoshop Magazine Cover & Hair Selection assignment was to create a real magazine cover of a person with long hair that covers the magazine's name with the subjects hair to understand how to correctly photoshop hair since it is a hard skill to learn while layering elements of the magazine behind the subject.
The photo was used with permission from Behrouz Sasani on UnSplash.com and the barcode was used with permission from the teacher
Above shows how I selected the subject and properly brought him into the project with all his fuzzy hair as well as the loose hair strands around his head. Then positioning the title of the magazine, VOUGE, between the subject and the backgound
Below is the finished magazine and all that was left to do was adjust the overall hue and saturation of the magazine cover to make all the colors pop a little bit more creating a more realistic magazine cover.
Below is the layers for the Photoshop assignment to verify that I imported the images correctly and added all text and effects myself.
