This is my master's degree final project !
It's a journal about the EC1 New Culture And Art Center in Lodz, Poland.
It's made up of 48 pages in a format 297mm x 420mm (A3) for one page with gives a format of 420mm x 594mm after it's opened (A2). The old photos of the power station EC1 have been made between 1906 and 1924. I also added my own photos from the year 2014.
Graphics, typography and photos consist mainly of black, white and grey colors.
The letters "A" and "G" begin the magazine. The alphabet, with you can see on page 4, is of my own design and I am very proud of it. It's function is to navigate the reader. The alphabet is based on a regular grid, made of duplicatable elements arranged in a straight line as well as in an angle.
The journal also has a grid. It's divided into three parts.
On some spreads section is empty, creating extra space.
Thanks to this the magazine gains clarity.
