What does it take to make a brand sustainable?
UWC Costa Rica places a big bet and focus on sustainability. From their Sustainability Framework to their 5-year Strategic Plan, the College constantly challenges themselves asking the question: 
How do we implement a culture of sustainability?

Following these sustainability efforts, and amidst the transition to a new and innovative campus on San Isidro de Heredia, a brand refresh was executed in all areas and program of the college, with a main focus on accessibility  and reducing its carbon footprint on physical and digital mediums, from a design standpoint.


A revamped Brand Guidelines document was created as the baseline in which designers, external contractors, and collaborators can reference to in order to produce content for the College. From wording, do's and dont's, to a new selection of colors, icons, "color waves", and instructions on distribution. 

The final goal: to make the design language as easy to read and easy to implement as possible, making it accesible to both the designers and the consumers.
