RESTAURANT REDESIGN
The objective was to design a restaurant in an existing space with set amenities:

kitchen
employee zone - toilet, shower, rest area
office
storage
waiting zone
toilets
This is the existing space. After looking through it, I made a moodboard of references of how i wanted the space to look like. I decided to go for minimal light materials, a bit of a natural tone, round edges and modern sleek look while keeping it neutral. Plants were very important in this project, because they created the ambience that i was going for.
The material palette was kept to a minimum to fit the goal I was trying to accomplish.
After deciding on the materials and the goal itself, i made a floorplan that included all the necessities specified in the beginning of the project. I didn´t want to space to be too crowded, so I did not focus on putting as much seating space as it could fit.
There were some challenges with the floor plan, like the columns or the walls that weren´t straight, but in the end they integrated pretty well with the whole layout. The space looked airy and there was flow throughout the whole restaurant. I also kept in mind that the employees would have an easy time navigating through the space. The kitchen is also big enough for the employees not to have to bump into each other while working.

Final step was the render with chosen materials. It came out well and created a nice ambience that I was looking for.
