I created 4 backgrounds for a stop motion film, that would blend 2D backgrounds with 3D characters and props. The movie is based on ethnic diaspora and revolves around the protagonist's current situation and flashbacks. The flashbacks take place in a different geographical location and I created a different concept art for each flashback. I also had to keep in the mind the keywords and the emotions the director wanted to convey through each frame.
