MV - My Room
Process:

Our assignment was to make a room for a character. I got to make one for a grocer.
First we had to write a backstory:

After Firi ran away, he realised that he didn't have any type of plan whatsoever. First thing he knew was going as far away as possible... second thing was to find a way to survive. Food, drinks, shelter... SHELTER!
As Firi traversed the lands he came across a village: West Gate.
Traveler's in passing had told him this place is full of merchants and traveler's going through the massive gates splitting the lands. It was difficult finding a place but 3 moons later, a teethling sorcerer with a big hat and a tail , golden lining with royal blue robes and long sleeves, Phione Sienna, showed up. (she's insane and eats the bugs of the ground)
She told Firi she has a shop where he can live for free, only if he would keep watch over the shop and make good trades. Turned Turnips. His new home and his place where he will learn magic. Druid magic.
It requires a good bond with nature and so this was the best place to learn. With a sorcerer and plants all around.
Firi was quite bad at social things and so being able to sell things convincingly was... a challenge. Along side trying to establish a bond with nature, Firi was distracted.
The shop itself was nice. Layers upon layers of pots and boxes with plants, foods and other substances. It was a small, cozy hut. Made out of a layer of stone as foundation with wooden walls and a wooden roof. A few structural pillars in the corners and inside of the building.
But the thing that seemed to keep the whole place together was the tree growing through the middle of it all.
There was a tiny platform in the corner of the room elevated with a ladder pushed against it. Firi was allowed to make this into his room. A bed and a heap of boxes used as nightstand, basically took all of the space he had on this tiny elevation. He used glowing mushrooms as a lamp to read at night.
This is where he learned how to use druid magic.

Music track:
We had to choose a song.
I made this song myself for the character: https://youtu.be/sILgTim4Tes?si=hlY6drnOjmVJLjhr

The next step was to make a mood and style board:

Blockout:
We made a blockout to get a general idea for the layout of all the most important things and to get the lighting to something I like.
Process end product in blender:
Reflection:

I already learned how to use blender's tools and shortcuts last period so I didn't have much trouble with that. The most difficult part was to focus on the assignment. It wasn't difficult but just costs a bunch of time.
Most feedback I received was about things I was planning to change anyways and the only thing I really learned was how to use Sketchfab. But it is very limited since you can only have 3 light sources while my end result really relies on the lighting.
I did get faster in making low poly models and I'd never make such a big project if it wasn't for this assignment in 3D.
