This industrial pallet was salvaged from an old abandonded autoshop. All of the original hardware is intact and the table is very sturdy. After sanding and staining the wood, we finished it off with a few coats of polyurethane. We also sanded the rust off of the iron legs. The table is approximately 3ftx4ft, 6 inches off the ground and weigh about 80 lbs.
This would make a lovely coffee table that would add character and function to any ambiance.
The steel has been sanded down to remove the rust and to bring back from of the original luster while still maintaining a brushed metal look. I also sanded and refinished the top, leaving two stripes that show through to the original colored wood, with the rest of the wood being treated with a light stain. The chair was finished off with a few coats of polyurethane.
The stool is very sturdy and has all of the original hardware.
