UNICEF MIDWIVES CAMPAIGN
Brief:
We were tasked in finding and highlighting a South African midwife who went beyond her duties, and praised in her community. Introducing Mama Thembisa Nxokweni, a maternity and children’s ward matron at EGUM Hospital (EAST Griqualand and Usher Memorial Hospital) in Kokstad.

Let's talk breast feeding with aisha
Brief:
Create a breastfeeding drive that will encourage woman to breastfeed their new born babies for longer than 6 Months.
Our Solution:
Our objective is to restart the breastfeeding conversation among South African women. How do we encourage and support moms to breastfeed? By introducing an influential spokesperson to become the UNICEF Breastfeeding Advocate - someone to whom women can relate and with whom they can share their stories; a woman who is climbing her own ladder of motherhood, and as a new mom herself, is still discovering the challenges.

Saku Round Table with Aisha
We brought Aisha to theUNICEF/Sakhasethu Main head quarters, here she spoke to the women who are the leaders of the Sakha esethu initiative, how they work within the community and how embarking knowledge about breastfeeding has impacted P.E and created awareness of breastfeeding.
