How do you illustrate a sensation in advertising and marketing?

Here is my design for the word 'aromatic'. 

Aromatic is an example of a powerful sensory branding word. Using sensual words like this in marketing visuals appeal to peoples senses, with the aim for example that people react to the image perhaps even imagining the smell of lavender for example. 

I have used a soft lilac, featured lavender illustrations and included a suggestion of aroma and pleasant smell in the design.

Creating vivid and memorable visual experiences like this help brands instantly connect with consumers on a deeper level.
