Original Instructions: "Using provided source imagery, students will digitally composite two subjects in an underwater scene and attempt to match tonal contrast, film grain, atmospheric conditions, lighting, focus, and other challenging roadblocks." 

"For this Photoshop project, you will be using the provided imagery to create an underwater scene that looks like a truck is eating a whale." 

My Experience: As the first true assignment of the course, this project was fairly simple. It mostly consisted of cropping out images of a pickup truck, a whale, and even the coral reef, then ensuring they were all movable layers. I also enjoyed experimenting with the colors and filters (especially noise) to further enhance the feeling of being underwater.
