Illustrations are a way of communication through visuals. It helps in viewing a different side which enlightens the artist as well. It helps in capturing emotion and thinking in ways that might enlighten an artist as well. Here are a couple of my illustrations which I have worked upon over the past few years.
HOME IN THE PEACE
Home is a place where we live and move out every day. As we grow up as an adult, we prefer to leave our house. But it's the place where we are born and brought up. I'm an early riser. I wake up early and go out for a walk every day around my block. I see the same places and meet the same people every day. While moving around the block, my nostrils flare at the Chinese store. A couple of buildings that I see every day.

LOOKING AT YOU
Pop Eyes was again my foundation project. I feel eyes are one of our ways of communication. In Indian families, a mother, a girl, a boy and sometimes a child can communicate a lot just with their eyes. These are my eyes which are trying to portray the emotion of surprise. It's like when you look into someone's eyes and you say, "What?!" You keep staring into someone's eyes and unintentionally get lost in your own thinking. It is exactly that moment when you realize that you have missed half of the conversation because you were zoned out. It is that same reaction. It's that reaction which is being communicated here.

THE APPLE OF EDEN
Fruits of vegetable seller is something that caught my eye. The shape has so many different shapes, forms, colours and sizes. Therefore, it can look messed up if not arranged properly or it might be the most beautiful if dealt with carefully. It was Sunday morning, I came out of my park, I was tired and not looking anywhere. Suddenly, the beautiful composition of a fruit carriage came to my attention. It was organized and arranged beautifully that I could not unseen it even in a tired state of mind.
The red apple was looking as out as it could. What if it was the apple of knowledge? What if it was the apple of Eden?

NEVERTHELESS
K-dramas are a true depiction of mesmerizing. The phase of K-drama might be held close to someone's heart. It is a perfect blend of creativity, love and aesthetics. We do not fell in love with just the couple a K-drame. We fell in love with their story, lifestyle and scenery. K-drama is mostly a series of 16 episodes released weekly and we wait impatiently.
Nevertheless was one of K-drama which was meant to be endlessly.

BROKEN PIECES
This illustration is a depiction of a scene from the series "Bandish Bandits". The composition of this scene was admirable. The symmetrical composition of two people surrounded by the broken mirror pieces in a monument in the middle of the day. It felt like the symbolism of life in which all of the relationships are like broken pieces. When two broken individuals come together and try to heal with each other's help. Any relationship is not just about happiness but it also about healing each other. It provides a safe space to fix the broken pieces of the past.
The balanced composition with magnificence generated too many emotions. It felt like a piece of art in which two people were enjoying each other company. The arrangement of broken mirror pieces gives a magnificent effect to the scenario. The component could be a mat paper or cloth but the conscious decision to choose mirror pieces made me intrigued about the composition.

SOLIDARITY
Escaping from reality has always been easy and most uncomfortable. I like to sit and stand by myself for long. Our own company is the best. There is peace and comfort and time to reflect on ourselves. Sometimes, we do nothing and just stand there, taking it all in. It is the time of the day when you don't feel like facing the truth, when you don't dare to feel the reality, to know the reality or to face the reality. It takes time, courage and determination to take the step of doing instead of waiting. when everyone around you keeps asking you to do something that you don't want to do. When it's time when you decide to do it for yourself.
