This was a project that I was able to do for the City of Boston in Fall 2023 through their PaintBox program. The purpose behind the design is to show the vast diversity of wildlife within the city, as Boston, while being a city full of big buildings, has plenty of nature and I wanted to showcase that. Additionally, it was painted in front of an elementary/middle school, where kids are now able to enjoy the painting whenever they see it. Featured on the box is an homage to the Prudential and Hancock buildings on one side with two swans, inspired by a photograph I took in the Back Bay Fens area shortly before submitting my design.
