Giving me just 8 weeks, my CEO asked me to craft a launch announcement that would win the attention of industry media, dazzle potential investors, and preempt competitive offerings. In this compressed timeline, I crafted a plan, secured support and cooperation from the executive team, product, engineering, UX and design, and achieved all our goals with an on-time launch.

 

My responsibilities:

* Project manage the entire launch

* Secure two versions of a product demonstration video to work around limited client brand use permissions

* Brief and guide the PR agency for writing a press release and identifying media pitching targets

* Work with designer to create product brand graphic assets

* Name the product

* Create a launch micro-site for the product

* Write a launch day blog post

* Arrange briefings and prepare CEO to brief key industry analysts and media
