The design task was to create a social poster raising social issues. I created a project for a foundation supporting children, especially those from lower social classes who do not have adequate access to basic resources. Research conducted by the Empowering Children Foundation indicated that 1 in 7 children in Poland live in relative poverty, and over 70,000 children eat only what they get at school during the day, and arranging for parents to subsidize school meals is often associated with many formalities and social stigmatization. Research shows that irregular nutrition, especially during adolescence, causes problems with learning and memory, as well as disorders in physical and mental development. By supporting the Polish Humanitarian Action and the Empowering Children Foundation, we can finance free meals organized in schools by foundations, thanks to which every hungry child, regardless of social status and formalities, can eat a nutritious, warm meal without being exposed to stigmatization.
