1.External DC motor controller using TIVA C series TM4C123GH6PM
This lab project entails the design and implementation of an embedded system prototype for precise control of the speed of a DC motor. The closed-loop system utilizes pulse-width modulation (PWM) through an external H-bridge, ensuring accurate motor speed regulation. Feedback is obtained through a dual-channel incremental quadrature encoder, enabling the system to sense and respond to changes in angular velocity.
Significant features encompass both automatic and manual speed control modes, a user interface accessible through a remote terminal, and a local interface comprising a liquid crystal display and pushbuttons. Apart from that remote terminal shows ambient temperature and current time of the system. The integration of these elements aims to provide a comprehensive and versatile platform for exploring motor control methodologies and embedded system programming.
