The blue stones used for this artwork come from old curbs or flower beds that was present in the city center of Tournai and more particularly in the Rue Royale. They were removed to allow the redevelopment project of the city center designed by the urbanist studio Paola Vigano.

Arthur-Louis Ignoré and his team counted and sorted the stones, they were then cut and assembled on the ground. The work occupies 3 zones that highlight the paths of Crombez Park and echo the decorative arts ornaments present in the city.
