Front-end Design
Client: Mecum Auctions (in-house)

Upon joining Mecum Auctions, my primary responsibility was to redesign the mecum.com website. However, in the initial months, the focus shifted towards creating additional websites and supporting Digital Marketing with landing page promotions and other digital content. When we decided to refocus on mecum.com, it became evident that handling the task in-house, especially concerning infrastructure and business operations, was impractical. Recognizing the magnitude of the project, including the redesign, it was initially outsourced due to the substantial resources required. As the project progressed, the designs reached a standstill, lacking the necessary visual appeal for Mecum leadership. Drawing on my understanding of the brand and its requirements, I intervened to create fresh designs, primarily emphasizing improved lot search and enhanced lot and auction details pages. Despite development being well underway, time was lost in the earlier design iterations, necessitating the creation and execution of new and improved designs under stringent time constraints. Following the launch, additional efforts were made to enhance the designs for the top ten and magazine article pages.
