Textkiller - Brand Evolution

Textkiller was initially created as a sister product of Robokiller to enable younger user demographics, who aren't plagued by spam calls, a way to get rid of the other major threat, spam texts. With the growing user base and Robokiller getting rebranded, the basic visual identity and icon weren't enough to keep up and stay relevant.

The new brand identity, color palette, and visual style were designed to create an outlier in the spam text market, resonate with modern demographics, and establish a shared base language that can be connected to Robokiller.

As both Textkiller and Robokiller went through substantial growth, we wanted to further evolve our telecommunications apps into a sister suite using a branded house design system and to determine the best market fit for Textkiller and design a visual identity that helps support that positioning.

We decided to create an all-new visual identity that plays well with Robokiller, and the rest of the Teltech telecommunications app portfolio by designing all aspects of the visual identity, as well as brand work to develop tone and messaging for the refreshed product experience.

We developed a flexible identity system that uses ‘Etch’ lines to carry the narrative forward through the Product experience and across each customer touchpoint, connecting photography, infographics, packshots, illustrations, and interactive elements into a cohesive flow.
