BIOCOIFF is a hair salon founded by Charley Assoun that specializes in organic haircare products. They produce a variety of shampoos and baums made from various herbs and plants that can heal dry, brittle and badly damaged hair. The company is growing with 2 salon locations in Paris, France; an e-shop; Facebook, Google+ and Twitter sites.
Working with Marketing Director, Simon Assoun; My projects included creating various promo ads for both print and web, and creating the design for the logo and packaging of their "Baume de Rose" haircare product. The main theme for their marketing is to use illustrations with the innocent, feminine, nature look.
BIO vs CHEMICAL
This is an ad for print and web that pits Biocoiff products versus haircare products which contain harsh chemical ingredients. As directed by Simon Assoun (CMO), I stuck to the feminine, light, innocent, nature theme: creating a
hand drawn illustration, and coloring with watercolors, inks. Editing and finishing the design with the use of Photoshop
and InDesign
BOIS de ROSE
This project involved creating the logo/font and packaging design for Biocoiff's Boise de Rose hair baume.
CHEVEUX BRULEES (Burnt hair)
This is a promo ad project for both print and web. The idea is of a cartoon-like illustration of a lady with fiery hair. Her burnt hair was caused by the harsh chemicals of mainstream haircare products.
PROMO NOEL (Christmas Promo)
Christmas product sale promo for print and web. Created using a mix of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
BIOCOIFF WARRIORS
This project is a product promotion theme/ad that focuses on the idea of female nature warriors. Staying with the theme of nature, femininity, innocense - the idea was that nature has the strenght to combat harsh chemicals on your hair. The ad's title is "Join the reBIOlution" or "Rejoignez la reBIOlution" 2 versions are created in French and English.
