We perceive sound as the waves created by the vibrations. The vibrations of air molecules, spread out in all directions, ringing our eardrums in our ears. So isn't the sentence "I feel the vibrations" the same as the "I hear the sound"? If it's the same, then can't we apply this to music? Emotion is the most important factor in music. If a composer puts joy and pain into a piece of music, a performer plays with the emotion of that music to create a sound. then it's tuned to the performer's intent and then transmitted to the listener. The brand INSOUND aims to help deaf people understand the emotions behind music, not just feel the vibrations.
INSOUND uses shapes to visualize the inherent shape of sound waves. It's inspired by an experiment in which different frequencies are shaped with salt. The sophistication of the pattern varies depending on how high or low the frequency is.
