My Favorite NOM Spots

I made this commercial for Nissan of Midland in 2017.
After a 3 hour drive, I arrived and it began pouring down rain.
I didn't think I'd be able to shoot that day, but I shot indoors
until it cleared up enough to shoot outside. The people who worked there
and their family members were just as kind as they could be,
and they were so much fun to work with. You can see it in the commercial.
This spot also makes be a bit sad because I wasn't able
to get my boss to approve another shoot there for almost 5 years.
I shot the local dealership video and the manufacturer provided the running footage.
I edited the video with all of the effects in After Effects. I assembled the completed video with voice tracks and music tracks in Avid Media Composer.
I made this commercial in the Summer of 2022.

I made this commercial in the December of 2017.
That year Nissan introduced the Rogue and sponsored the movie Rogue One.
They provided us with Star Wars-ish music
and i found a ton of Star Wars sound effects online.
I used Video Copilot's Saber pluig-in for the light saber effects.
I edited the video with all of the effects in After Effects. I assembled the completed video with voice tracks and music tracks in Avid Media Composer.

I made this commercial in the November of 2020.
During the year of the pandemic, we had been told "no" so often,
I didn't even want to say the no in No-vember. So, I wrote this Yes-vember spot.
The spot itself wasn't all that great, but i enjoyed making it.
