Chroma key
In this project, the main objective is to remove the green screen and change the background of the person. To remove the green screen, we used NUKE Software compositing methodology to make it more clear and to maintain realistic background.
Techniques Used
In this project, we used Key Light, Edge Blur and Hue Correction techniques to bring out the perfect output.
Original Footage
At first, we started with Edge blur node to blur the edges of women to make it more realistic and accurate.
Next step, we add Hue correction to match the color for the background. Hue correction allows you to fine-tune or correct specific color tones in an image or video. This helps in achieving a more accurate representation of the desired colors.
After this, we imported the background image to replace it with the green screen. First, we need to change the background image size according to the footage which we have it. So, to change the size, we use Reformat node and transform node to change the size and adjust it with the foreground footage.
Finally, we merged Hue Correct and the background nodes together to bring out the final output. Then, we used Crop node to adjust the scale of the final footage, which looks more realistic as we filmed with the original background.
Here is the final output of the footage after removing the green screen and add new background using Chroma Key in NUKE.
