This closed fluid chamber was the first 3D render of a fluid chip that I made for the research organization that I had discussed this project with and continue to learn more sophisticated ways of putting together these animations.
This particular image was composited and rendered using Blender Cycles Rendering engine during the 2.6 releases (2013).
Blender 2.60+ - 2.70 was used in the generation of a 60 second animation composed of individual dupli objects which were used as the source of particles to fill a rigid body.
The dynamics between the particles were fully capable of being parameterized and produced an animation that could have been made even longer with some of the new rendering techniques available within Cycles for the same amount of spent rendering /processing times.http://chrisleggett.com
