I have been documenting through my photography the sacred land of Turkey for 9 months. Here I found myself facing something greater than me, something with more way done than loneliness. Trying to control that, borns this project. In it I have tried to convey the two most common lived rarities about this country: primitive consciousness (which Reigns) and feeling the touch with your look. In Turkey they live through these two vulgarities. It may be difficult to achieve, but the great current absorbs you and pulls you into its lap to help you become part of its strangeness, a common strangeness, which is rare. Isla de Perros is that search for understanding and control of a land.

Existing beneath the moon and the stars will make it the city that prevails, although difficult to understand. A portrait of the dogs that shape the figure of my visage.

Spending too much time with the dogs makes you end up becoming one of them, wandering through that prehistoric land, a land with unknown air. Unable to understand what surrounds you, you can only glide by like a ghost and let amazement win. They belong to the origins of time. Isla de Perros is made to give thanks to primitive honor.
